Super quiet. I get that they put off getting married for two years thanks to the pandemic and were actually engaged all the way back in October 2019. But I never expected Carole, mother of the Future QUEENtm, to allow her only son to get married not only outside of the U.K. but also without the pomp-and-circumstance she expected from her royal-adjacent children.

Like...no thousand cameras capture George, Charlotte, Louis, Arthur, and Grace walking down the aisle in cute matching outfits? Sacrilege!

It’s not really up to Carole, now is it? Perhaps the bride snd groom wanted to keep it quiet. Who can blame them? I wouldn’t want my wedding to be some big circus either.

It's absolutely up to Carole. James doesn't have a job, a degree, a career or an income. Just like his sisters he was living in a house paid for by Carole - her actual house to be frank. But unlike his sisters he doesn't have a wealthy husband to spend on him.

That's on top of his bride marrying into a family where Carole and his sisters opinions matter very much. I applaud Alizee for deftly navigating that tangle.

DP. It’s not up to Carole. Alize is clearly going to bankroll them. The Middleton’s do not have the funds to keep James in the lifestyle to which he has been accustomed. Hence, why his brother in law (Pippa’s husband) was a bigger investor in his flop marshmallow business.

She's a mid-rate manager at a company's whose big claim to fame is $10 million in start-up money. That's nothing and not rolling in dough. She'll have to hustle like Carole to keep in the style he's accustomed to while paying for nannies and private school herself. Unless Kate/Pippa are going to do a Uncle Gary and pay for it for them.

I would assume her family is well off since they got married in France and her father is a former diplomat. I don’t see Kate helping but Pippa might. Either way James certainly won’t be earning his keep.

More like she + William just got back from a long overseas vacation for weeks (his deep tan gives him away). Not ruling anything else out either but this is their vacation time.
