Do you actually know someone who drives a Hummer?

I was rolling my eyes at a Hummer today, being all judgmental and whatnot, and then I started to think if I actually knew anyone that drove one. I do but it's so unexpected I had almost forgotten. He is one of my neighbors and is probably 80 years old. He lives in a tiny rundown house on a very expensive piece of property and keeps a garden on our property. Sometimes he brings us veggies in the summer. I love him. About 5 years ago he bought a brand new Hummer. It was hilarious! We were like, you go Mac!

I am pretty sure he is the only non-obnoxious person on the face of the earth that drives one. Can you prove me wrong?

Yes, and I can't for the life of me figure out why someone who lives in the exurbs, far away from things, would want to drive a giant car that gets really low gas mileage. Seems foolish. She's very Republican and I suspect it's kind of an f-you to environmental types who worry about things like global warming.

I also used to work with a guy who drove one. I'm pretty sure in his case it was a small p*nis car. I couldn't stand him anyway and the hummer was the final argument in my (mental) case against him.

Likewise, I used to work with a really annoying guy who drove one and it seemed as though he needed to make up for something.

I am from South Florida - Miami/Ft Lauderdale and I know many many people who drive Hummers, including some friends who got them while we were in high school.

Here, I dont know anyone who drives one, but then again, I dont know what most of my friends drive bc no one I know here cares about that sort of thing. I find DC to be the least materialistic place I have ever lived (Miami, NY, Boston, DC) and I live in Georgetown.

I don't know anyone who has one. Also don't know anyone who has a Prius, FWIW.

Haha, what is that reporter smoking? I've never seen a "beefy fella who enjoys offroading" driving a Hummer. All I see is prickish little weasel dudes and tiny, pinched bleached blonde white women driving them!

Um, high-paying jobs?!

Hummers don't bother me. About the same gas mileage as a big BMW or Mercedes, and seats more people and carries more luggage. Silly obsession.

I also think hummers are obnoxious...not to mention just plain ugly! I know a guy who drives one...with monster truck wheels. He's prob. the shortest grown man I know, so Im sure its a napoleon complex issue he's working out! Its kinda funny to see him jump out of it though.

I drive an average size sedan and find Hummers far harder to see around in traffic than other SUVs. If I'm behind one, I have no idea what's happening up ahead.

The only person I know who drives one is a corrupt contractor who employs illegal aliens.

My son's math teacher drove one, and would use it when they went on field trips and the students went wild for it. He's the only one.

Haven't they stopped making them?
