I’m a team manager, the guest players and new kids at practices are invited by the coaches. Usually team managers have no insight as who is being invited. Just my 2cents. It’s all coaches, tech directors and club staff.

I'm assuming your sarcasm is directed to VRSC. My child has been with VRSC for several years now and is able to accurately and skillfully play 3 to 4 positions on the field. The coach is able to play my child in their primary position and then if they are short a player the coach can move them to the position needed. My child is also able to dribble out of any wet paper bag with both feet. This past weekend my child won all but 2 of the 1 v 1's in the 2 games that were played. And before you say there must have been only 1 of those my child plays wing and has several 1 V 1's in each game. Their defensive line is amazing, as are their midfield players; they are undefeated as of now in their season.

I'm not sure how to break it to you but possession and ball movement is the point of soccer development. JFC you insane trophy hunting parents really do not understand how utterly stupid you sound. I'll take a good possession filled game with two shots where one goes in over blasting the ball a 100x wildly by the same one kid holding a team together they shouldn't even be on and one or two going in. Your kid is literally learning nothing and going no where if this is all they can do. But enjoy the low tier bracket wins this month where you beat 5th teams 12-0.

Not quite lol, my dd plays for the oldest age group and we are more than responsible for VRSC parents having to sleep in cars to avoid breathalyzers come these past weekends we have played them.

For 2012 SYC is clearly better than VRSC. For 2011 you could have them play 4 times and have 4 different outcomes.
