I was happy to see single people pushing back in the comments. I wish she would recognize her own self worth rather than relying on others to validate her existence.

I rolled my eyes at the creamer post. It’s classic Jen. “My life is so PERFECT, you guys. My heart has been healed from the pain of divorce because… my boyfriend bought my gross creamer.” Yuck.

Also, loved the “say yes to your kids” post from today. So…. what if my kid asks me to wake them up for school, Jen?! Yes or No?!?!?!

I think we are ALL just exhausted by her and her way-too-long posts. LOL. It's just typical Jen, making a HUGE deal out of her boyfriend buying the creamer she likes for her when she stays at his place. It's just yet another way for her to brag and to call attention to how great everyone in her life is, and of course making things a little (or a lot controversial - like the "earn" the right to wear a bikini in Mexico by losing 30 lbs post), to keep her engagement numbers up.

I used to read her books and think she provided some valuable insights and advice. Now, I can't think of one thing she can "teach" me that I don't already know, haven't already experienced on my own, or that someone more qualified can't help me with. She is, to me, becoming more and more irrelevant.

This just does not seem like healthy behavior - wouldn't learning & growing from the divorce look like not defining yourself by a relationship? It would have been much more refreshing to see her spend some time alone, and then date privately & casually for a while, instead of a weirdly public and intense long-distance relationship, especially at such an important time in Remy's life. From what little I can see, hopefully Brandon & his girlfriend are at least providing a little more stability for her (and the rest of the kids).

omg the creamer post. Like, girl, it's CREAMER! He doesn't know your deep dark secrets. He doesn't know the way you love watching 'pecan trees that are 100 years old be trimmed.' He knows you like crappy creamer with your coffee. #weallknowthat

Anyone could do that, and probably would for a house guest for the weekend. She is just SOOOO much.

As an aside...yes, seriously what is with NO snark anywhere else...not even reddit? Like what crazy ass powers does she have that we all had to find this weird corner of the internet?

She needs to realize she does not dress well enough to be considered a fashion influencer and no one is out there wondering what she’s wearing. Lol the whole fake lash, omg so here’s what I’m wearing makes me gag. I can handle small doses when this comes from kids in their teens/twenties, but it gets progressively cringe when it’s middle age women who think they’ve aced fashion. Oh, girl, I feel for you… your star has fallen.

Big Sis is yesterday’s news. It’s not 2015 anymore.

There is a little snark on reddit but you have to dig for days to find it, it gets buried under all the Rachel vitriol.

GOMI started going anti-Jen when the divorce was announced and any criticism was stone cold silenced like a Trump on a Tweet.
No idea why GOMI protects her. It's very un-GOMI like.

I used to sort of equate her and Sarah Bessey. Christian mom bloggers who kept it real and were funny. Just for kicks I decided to look up Bessey on IG and I was floored at the differences between them. She’s still so… real! THIS is what Jen used to be like!

Get Off My Internets.

A social media influencer snark forum site with a weirdly protective founder.

I came to ask about this! Yes - I also used to think of them as fairly comparable, and I know their friends. Sarah has been commenting on a lot of Jen's posts lately, and her reply gets hundreds of likes. But they have really gone different directions - Sarah is posting thoughtful, relevant content and keeps her kids & marriage very very private; no shilling products & discount codes.

I get the sense that Jen is 100% all about extracting as much money from her “tribe” as possible. It isn’t about “serving” them anymore. It’s more about a Late Stage Caputalism cynical business model.

I do appreciate seeing Jen comment on yesterday's shooting in Texas. Her post reminded me of the Jen I used to love! Would love to see more of this and less of the shilling.

Where does Jen post? I looked on https://jenhatmaker.com/ and don't see any current posts. Am I missing something?
