| I remember the days when SJC had no business being on the same field as GC, BI and even Holy Cross. They usually battled PVI for 4th/5th place in the WCAC. These past couple of years, the SJC girls have beaten SSSAS, Visi and BI, lost to SR by one and is now playing in the WCAC Finals for the first time. Regardless, of what these next years bring - you have to give this current group of Seniors credit. |
This won't age well. SJC and BI both played really well and it was great lacrosse. SJC played a long game of stall ball when up by one. A shot clock would have made it a more fun and competitive game. GC doesn't hold back nor do they stall when up by a little. GC will beat SJC handily. |
| Stone Ridge vs Visi update? |
1 of those already starts so your point is invalid and I doubt she would be back in time. You need 6 new players. And the other 3 are not close to the level of the current seniors that do start. |
SR won 8-6 |
|
stone ridge won because of visis failure to distribute the ball on offense, too many shots right to the sr goalie’s net & a few too many errors.
It was a competitive game and sr came out on top. |
Explain further. I can't tell who you're throwing shade at. |
| What this means is that Visi beat SR a couple of weeks ago because they played as a TEAM. Today three middies played Hero ball and it didn't work for them. Must be frustrating for Visi players. |
|
Not throwing shade. Just observation.
Does every post have to be a dig? |
Yep the middies played selfishly and it doesn’t work. |
Well you're not commenting on your daughters play so, yah, it's a dig. |
100% agree. Passed up many opportunities to move the ball and forced shots. |
We get it. You’re a proud GC parent. Good for you. |
| Seemed like they just didn’t trust their teammates. Dk if that lack of trust is deserved or not, but it was obvious. |
It’s very interesting because in their past few games attackers have scored as many goals as the middies when they were passing the ball more. like a flip switched for this game. |
