Yup. |
He seems like a deeply damaged person who could probably address a lot of his rage if he spoke to a therapist. There’s a lot of pent up anger against his mother. |
I don’t think they are. July 13 was the first attempt on a former president/candidate in many years. It probably won’t happen again so they should stop with the bullet proof theater. |
A therapy strategy (for dealing with his rage against women) that JD tried was wearing eyeliner. Then he was told he wasn't wearing enough eyeliner, so he started wearing more, a lot more. Then liberals made fun of him for wearing so much eyeliner. Not fair. |
Does it seem like JD Vance is getting a second look from the American people?
It just seems like the online criticisms of him (incel, sycophant, loser, etc.) and those questioning his sexuality have started to die down. |
Not really. He seems to be very gaffe prone. Calling school shootings a fact of life. Refusing to denounce Tucker Carlson for hosting holocaust deniers on his show…that’s just Vance in the last two days |
I realize the following is more than a week old, but the guy doesn’t know how to order donuts. Wasn’t being regular and inveighing against the (croissant-eating) elites the whole premise of that damn book? |
School shootings are a fact of life. We should just accept that as the new norm. What an idiot!
I’ll just have my relatives quit thei job and watch my kids so I can save on childcare. Is this guy for real!!!! |
Uh...no. JD Vance is the worst VP pick. Ever. Trump disqualifies himself, but any rational voter wouldn't consider Vance as presidential material. At. All. |
Yeah, and I think we see the flawed premise in his book. He seemed to think that he had difficulty integrating into “elite” society because of his alleged “hillbilly🦴roots. When it’s now clear that it was because he’s just a socially awkward guy who is pretty arrogant and doesn’t listen well to others. He’s like the opposite of the Talented Mr Ripley. |
This is the take. Trump’s in terrible shape. There’s no way he’s going to be alive in four years, or at least not verbal anymore. Who wants a puppet like JD? A weird puppet, a mid guy who exists mostly because he has been plumped up by a billionaire. |
Ooh I like that comparison. And inverse Ripley. |
Wait. I thought Quale was. No, that was Palin. No that was Pence |
I think most people agree that Pence was a smart pick for Trump because he helped solidify the evangelicals and had both legislative and executive government experience. Palin was dynamic and charming and very popular with the base, and raised a ton of money. Vance is none of those things. |
Excellent analogy! And probably correct about the fundamental issue Vance has had with “elite” society. He’s just a weird loser. Why did Trump pick him?? |
