| What is the term for a petite, small or short man? And can they buy boys size clothing or where do they get their clothes? |
| Weenie boy. |
| Why are you asking? |
| Curious. Since there are petite clothing selections for women, what about for men? |
| Dh is 5'4 but wears M in most stores. Lenghtbin pants 30 works |

My DH is 5'5" and it's a problem finding clothes sometimes. Jeans are OK because he wears a 30 length. But dress pants always need to be hemmed.
He now gets his suits custom made (he found a tailor based in Hong Kong!) and so now he gets them better quality for less. |

PP,
Does you husband travel to Hong Kong to get his suits or does he send measurements. My husband is a bear to fit in suites. Very thin and bout 5'7. He also has narrow shoulders and shoulder alterations are expenise and don't look that great. |
|
No, the tailor is in HK and the work is done there. But the tailor travels to the US several times a year and meets with clients by appointment and takes measurements and orders. The clothes are then shipped here after they are manufactured. The cost is similar to buying suits and dress shirts from a place like Brooks Brothers, but the quality is simply superb!
I don't know how DH first found out about this guy. |

My father has the opposite problem (big guy) and had all of his shirts/suits tailor made by this company. They set up shops in hotel rooms - you get measured, pick out fabrics, and they make the item and ship it to you. He's done this for years (at least 25y+)

Wow, thanks so much for the link. NP here. I'll be signing DH up for this, looks like they'll be in DC at the end of Jan. |
12:17 here. I don't think that is DH's tailor, but it operates in a very similar way. Must be a common business model.

sounds like my DH! |
| Can I ask the pps how much their DH generally pays for one of these suits? Thanks. |
| That's really cool that someone posted the link. People aren't usually that helpful around here. Don't know what the big secret is. |
