If any of your solutions involve changing the nature of Israel, you have a motive beyond stopping the killings. You want regime change.

Countries that perpetually grab other peoples land don’t get to live in safety. Retreat to 1967 borders, and then talk. Until then, you’re an occupying power, and those don’t get to live in peace.

Then your side doesn't live in peace either--continually start wars you will be in wars, and the other side will shore up its defenses to protect itself against you, and not give you anything. Rest of the world starts to see a patter of hmm, who is starting a war all of the time then crying "what about our babies!"?

I think what you don’t understand is that it’s not “my side”. I see a people who are being treated really badly, against common human morality, by a country that I thought shared like values. The sarcastic “what about the babies” is hard to read. It’s almost like you don’t think there are babies getting killed. Or mothers starving. Or people being maimed and killed. All of that is real. Whether or not you think those folk deserved it - doesn’t change that many of us don’t.

Ok offer a solution to keep babies alive that maintains status quo for Israel, because that is a solution that can be implemented immediately

Why do you think an ongoing land grab should continue? That’s the status quo, isn’t it?

Then war will continue, because neither side will give in. Insulting Israel to death and being really angry on the internet doesn't work.

The only reason a mob of faculty and brown shirts didn't rush him, like what happened to other Jewish speakers after 10/7, is because the US government finally made it clear that sort behavior will be punished.

Nope, it’s not antisemitism. They walked out because Jerry Seinfeld is pro Israel’s actions and they were making a statement that they do not share this view. Being anti Israel’s actions and even anti - Israel is not the same as being antisemitic. Israel does not = Jewish. One is a country the other is a religion.

He is head of the parents association at Duke. One child attends Duke and the other graduated, so it is a logical choice.

He is humorous and didn’t make any political statements so he is a fantastic choice.

I am not on any side but the pro-Palestine tactic of blocking a highways to places like Disney world or other freeways. Or protesting someone saying something not political is absolutely losing them support. I used to be neutral and now have an absolutely negative view toward Palestine protestors.
