Roy Moore the Pedophile

Interesting story from the NYTimes on women voters from Alabama and how they perceive Moore, both pro and con.

Really? Give us the link. Facts, man. Until I see the actual paper trail I won't believe it.

Which is worse - the last minute fake news bombshell or the concerted effort of both the left and never trumpers that is obvious?

All you people who are questioning the timing—seems like you want to prevent Alabamans from hearing about Roy Moore before they send him to the senate for 6 years. You make everything sound like a conspiracy but basically you want to keep Alabama residents from hearing any negative news.

The WaPo’s endorsement of the opposition can before the story. And they drum up an activist at random?

Link or it didn't happen.

Add to the list of members of the GOP calling on Moore to drop out:

John Kaisch
Pat Toomey

I'm truly sorry for you. That you don't understand journalism. That you don't understand facts. That you don't understand the difference between the editorial/opinion side of the newspapers and the investigating side. It must be easy to go through life with such a simple view of the world. But, it is sad to see people reveling in their stupidity.

You're excusing a man soliciting a relationship with a child. It's supported and has many sources behind it. Many witnesses. So, think about that and what led you to such a lowly place and such a low level of integrity, that you would excuse that with a glib "Fake News" response. Pathetic.

Senator Tim Scott (R- SC): “The Denial was not as Strong as the accusations”

Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA): would “prefer Roy to step aside”. “The preponderance of the evidence supports the accuser”

Governor John Kaisch (R- OH): “of course” Moore should step aside.

Steve Mnuchin: “it appears there is a significant issue here that needs to be addressed”

KAC: did not offer support for Moore, and stated that she agreed with the BP that “everyone should know that conduct is disqualifying” (so even KAC does not say: hey, everyone is the South does this, Mary and Joseph did it, etc)

Marc Short (WH advisor): “there is no Senate seat more important than the notion of child pedophilia” (this is badly worded)

RNC has pulled funding.

It’s not hard to see that the WH using away, and hates the distraction with Trump in Asia. They are going to dump amoore too.

So why is anyone still supporting Moore?

Blatantly obvious he was a sexually stunted military creep who got zero action in high school or college, so he was intimidated by (experienced/confident) women his own age. Even his wiki page says everyone in his unit hated him--he was Animal House's Neidermeyer personified:

All that matters is what voters in Alabama will do.

Is it so hard to follow the 18-and-over rule?

Not really. Our response to the voters of Alabama matters too. If Roy Moore stays in and is elected, will the GOP seat him? Will the GOP let him Caucus? What happens if even Trump comes out against him?

The reactions of the voters of Alabama will decide if he becomes a Senator. But, our reactions to their decisions matter to the country. If he comes to DC and is ostracized in the Senate and companies and individuals boycott Alabama, that is a powerful statement. If he comes to DC and the GOP roles over and accepts him, because taxes, that is also a powerful statement.

Bingo. That said, I imagine very slim pickings in small town Alabama.

Trump won't come out against him. He'll win, he'll be seated, this is the fall of Rome - or at least of the Republican party

Dreaming is great, PP, isn't it?
The "fall" of the Republican Party?

We are witnessing the party being torn in two: traditional principled conservatives versus the Bannon wing where principles don’t count for anything in the quest for winning with the ultimate goal of destroying the federal government..
