I think I saw a poll in VA today showing Biden only has 62% of the Balck vote… that’s horrible. He needs it to be closer to 90%.

If you think only 62% of Black people are supporting Biden, you deserve whatever surprise you get in November.

These polls don’t compute at all. I do not know a single black voter who will vote for Trump, and I know many. Something fishy is going on here and I think it’s a deliberate attempt to depress the black vote. If anything the most strident Biden voters are black women. This feels like more of the paid accounts/fake accounts on social media. They’ve figured out how to manipulate the polls now.

It’s some crazy polling only 62%! If you look at Trump crowds in 2020 vs today a few things stand out. They are smaller and the minority representation is as low as it was back then when Biden got 90%.

We are going to have lower turnout this year. Lucky for Dems they have been doing better with more committed voters, see special elections.

Now Adam Schiff is saying Biden should drop out of race.

How many black folks you know? White people who only hang out with degreed black folks they met at some multinational corp don’t know black people, esp not the average black man. What Dems are doing with immigration and schools is despicable. I don’t know if I’m voting Trump, staying home or writing in my own name, but y’all can keep Joe.

You don’t know me or the company I keep. Unlike many DCUM posters I grew up in a majority black community and live in a different racially diverse one today. I keep old friends and make new, and no, they definitely don’t all have degrees. What they do have in common, across the board, they will not vote for the guy who cozies up to the torch bearers.

Doesn’t mean they’re standing on that line for your boy Biden. You’ll see. I’m not arguing with anyone about this.

For anyone who says they would vote for a cabbage over trump, that implies support for a Biden successor. The people who are uncomfortable with Biden (me) will stay home without a change. The people who aren't on board now, never will be.

Are you an average black man? Posting on a DC mom's board at 2pm on a Wednesday?

Hey 2520, unlike you, I’ve got black family all over I still talk to and see, and I live in a black neighborhood and go to a black church.

lol the GOP’s focus on cities is to lock every up. Republicans just want to kill anyone who does not kneel to Trump. Look what they did to Portland.

There goes Jeff deleting anyone who doesn’t say what he likes. Some black people don’t like Trump or Biden and when we stay home, Dems are f-ed. Give us a reason to turn our or you’ll see.

The polls were totally wrong in France and the far right did not win. I don’t believe any of these polls.

Sounds interesting! How are they doing that?

This is what I see. I see destruction of those cities. Are they helping by

gutting Medicaid and social security?

Rounding up immigrants and kicking them out when they are doing jobs the American citizens in those cities don’t want to do?

Backing big pharma and lessening restrictions so opioids can be doled out more easily?

What are they planning to do to help? Please list.

You can’t be this stupid. The polls were absolutely right and the right wing won initially. Macron just lucked out that a mechanism to call for a second election is possible in a parliamentary system. Hundreds of candidates then dropped out purely to thwart the right wing and a vast left wing coalition of opposing interests had to unite in order to defeat the right wing. Now, that same coalition can’t agree on a PM.

You think Trump’s going to drop out so Biden can win? What the French left wing pulled to shut out the right wing isn’t possible in the U.S.

What happened in France wasn’t polls, it was snap election votes, and yes the far right initially did win but their parliamentary system allows for additional rounds.

Courageous man. I've admired him ever since he participated in the Jan 6 commission. His is not a swing seat, BTW. He is also close to Pelosi, which tells you what she really thinks.

I hope others follow suit.

Would we then be stuck with Harris? Who would be the new Dem running?? Harris would not improve the poll numbers.
