She's not commenting b/c she spilled the tea back in early August to friends who talked to a gossip site.

What did she say?

Just that they were dating, before anyone knew.

https://www.wsj.com/style/travis-kelce-chiefs-taylor-swift-relationship-413ce0d7?st=0fhkr9suqmabb74&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink

He says in the article that he needed the money his first year in the NFL because he didn't understand that he wouldn't get paychecks during the offseason.

Thanks for the link. He’s adorable. And relatable. And funny. And kind. I’m now a fan.

Jr moetheringer’s overwrought, brotastic writing is always so annoying. Couldn’t finish the piece.

I like Kelce though!

He’s washed up and lost the game for his team last night. Now says he’s thinking about retirement. She ain’t gonna marry a washed up dumb jock. Major ick.

He didn’t drop (what would’ve been) the game winning TD.

It was a submission to DeuxMoi back in August on Instagram stories.

We need a drinking game for whenever the obsessive PP shows up to say “dumb jock” or “ick”. But we may need to pace ourselves, because she shows up so very, very frequently

Also also didn't "drop" the first one. It was punched out, in the rain. It happens. Good play by the Eagle's defense.

His rookie contract was like $3 mil with a $700k signing bonus, so I'm not buying that he did reality TV because he was broke. I don't dislike him or think he's a "dumb jock," but come on.

Yes, he's on record (years ago) as saying he was incredibly dumb with his money. He fully admits it. He himself was calling himself a dumb jock for all intents and purposes. He also missed his entire first year due to injury and it was not a good year for him. So when he was approached by E! he thought it would be a good opportunity to get some cash flow that he needed. I think it's true because it doesn't exactly paint him in a good light.

I was a skeptical one upthread and find what you added to make the story more believable.

Travis has a good point about being dumb with money. I remember reading that a lot NFL players waste their money and can end up broke quickly if they aren’t careful. It’s a lot of money to get in a short period of time when one is young and still maturing.

Good for him if this is true and he was so open and honest about it.

But wasn’t his older brother already in the NFL? How ignorant could he be.

Who cares? That was 11 years ago and he’s a different person who seeks to help others avoid his mistakes. What’s the point of beating this dead horse? He’s worth multimillions. He’s moved on, maybe you should too.

Huh? Because someone said “he’s a clout chaser who was desperate to be on reality tv” and your counterpoint was “he never wanted to be on reality tv the cameras just appeared one day while he was ringing his bell outside of the grocery store impoverished by only make a few million dollars a year. Really what could he do? Borrow money from his brother who was also in the NFL? No
he had to let the cameras follow him for money. He doesn’t even care about fame he actually used to just sit in the house not making podcasts and doing reality tv. It’s true love soon they will be having babies. I know because I wrote it in my Lisa Frank trapper keeper. TnT 4 Eva.”

You're arguing (well, with yourself quite frankly) with more than one person. He's also a philanthropist, as are most high-profile NFLers. Your hatred of him is simply misplaced. He's one of the good ones. They aren't all, and he's one. But whatever. You're weird and like to spend time on the internet crapping on people - wish I had your life! I'm off to find threads I don't know, nor care, anything about! What a complete great use of my time! Wooohooo!

Will they spend NYE together? He has a home game at 4:30PM in Kansas City on 12/31.

He is clearly a clout chaser. He won't stop giving interviews and talking about Swift. It's super thirsty. I don't see her babbling about him in interviews.

Didn’t realize she was giving interviews?

She doesn’t have a podcast.

She changed lyrics to be about him and has her PR person aka “a source close to the singer” talking for her.

Is she “super thirsty”? She does the same stuff but she pays people to talk FOR her.
