No, I didn't skip over it. What "changed peoples minds" was the fake separatist movement, which I referred to above, "The 2014 "separatist" movement of Donbas was widely instigated by Russian FSB, mercenaries and other forms of "little green men" who came in from Russia and took over local governments / installed puppet leaders." - it was and is every bit as phony as the "referenda" of Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and other oblasts to join Russia. |
I am Ukrainian and US citizen and I do not support this massive money laundering that US got involved to. |

Support for sanctions on Russia and arms transfers to Ukraine are waning according to a University of Chicago poll:

You don’t know that it was fake. I think it’s pretty much acknowledged that Kyiv didn’t handle that region right, and forced Ukrainizatuin was a mistake. I have friends in that area and they had no love whatsoever for the government, before or after 2014. It was just a miserable place to be. |
You did say that. Here is the quote: “Chairman of the State Council Li Qiang, who invited him on the visit, reportedly refused to meet with him. “ But he didn’t. |
Of course it was fake. It absolutely was. Why else were all those FSB agents and Russian mercenaries there? And guess what, it's gotten even more miserable since the Russians came in. |

We are invoked in a weird conflict without a vital American interest that we don’t understand and that most Americans don’t care about, with potentially massive geopolitical consequences…. Even Kissinger says the war must be ended.
But the media keeps playing the pro war message, and lots of people are making big bucks in this conflict, so the band plays on. |

Speak for yourself. We understand it fine.
It’s in our interest to support Ukraine and stick it to Russia. |
K street, defense industry or Ukrainian American. Which are you? |
Sticking it to Russia makes zero sense. The Soviet Union is long gone and Russia can't project power much beyond its border. They are not ideological competitors. They are largely irrelevant. Focusing on Russia is what happens when our foreign policy is driven by baby boomers who still think its 1964. |
This- instead of preparing for China, we are just wasting more money, driving Russia closer to China. Shit show from the same experts who brought you gulf war 2 and the Arab spring. |
I am sad about it not because I support Putin, but because my roots are from this country and it kind of hurts… |
What is your position on the US involvement in this war if you don’t mind? |
DP. I'm none of the above, but I fully support action against a terrorist (but incompetent) nation/military that specializes in lobbing missiles at civilians while stealing/raping kids. |
1964 is modern compared to Russias hitler wannabe dictator Putin who LITERALLY is using maps from 1700s as his target goal for Russia. https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2023/05/24/putins-antique-map-stunt-stirs-meme-storm-a81260 https://www.cnn.com/videos/world/2023/05/23/erin-burnett-monologue-map-putin-ukraine-17-century-ebof-vpx.cnn |
