It's not her responsibility to explain what happened. That's TM's responsibility.

Right I know but someone above said she explained it.

I don't think she can because of contracts and things.

I think as she notes in her response, she (or her company or whatever) relied on TM to handle this because they were assured it would be done well. She shouldn't have to explain why a company couldn't meet her and apparently the rest of the world's expectations. I thought her response was genuine and clearly she wasn't pleased that the TM/Livenation CEO placed the blame on her popularity

Right. All artists rely on TM/LN to run ticket sales. The venues they play at have contracts that require them to work with TM/LN. The only way to avoid it is to play at tiny venues, which means even fewer fans would see the shows.

Sorry I meant all artists that play venues of any size. The little clubs run their own ticket sales.

I love seeing all these UMC moms upset because they didn't get what they wanted and felt they deserved.

I didn’t even try to get tickets. I just don’t like mean people.

If they work as hard as my wife does, they do deserve it.

Wait until their kid doesn't get into Harvard.

I got tickets for my daughter, however I am angry with the way this process was run and that people who really want to be at this show can't because TM allowed bots to snatch up the same tickets I paid $150 for and sell them for $1,000 a piece, which TM then profits from. That's wrong whether or not you got tickets and something should be done about it.

That account started quickly but was surpassed by a different one (non-boosted). Spent hours getting in, putting tickets in a cart and being told another “fan” beat us. This happened for Pitt, Chicago, Denver, Seattle and LA. And now general sale (not that we had much hope there) is f’ing cancelled??!!
I need to calm down.

If you are prepared to travel so far for a concert, perhaps tally up how much you are prepared to spend for a two hour experience and look at other things for can buy with that money.

I just accept that I am not going to the Superbowl for example, and wonder about the people prepared to spend thousands for a game.

I went to stadium concerts when I was much younger. To be honest the thing I remember most is what David Bowie was wearing and how little I could see over the tall men. Granted they have big screens now, but then you may as well be watching from home.

The difference, for the most part, is that you can’t watch a concert live on tv. I bet a lot of people would l love that option.

Well, Hamilton ended up on tv, so maybe it will happen. If the musicians think they can make money by having a live telecast shown in movie theaters, maybe it will happen.

I grew up overseas, and very few famous acts ever came to our shores. It's possible to be a happy fan without ever seeing an act live.

I listened to the new album and it seems to have some very mature themes now TS is in her 30s, as well as some rather adult language. Similar thing with Harry Styles. Does that give you pause? It seems that these singers have moved on from their teeniebopper phase, yet many of their fans are still very young listening to songs with very adult themes.

Because the hysteria here about a concert is overwhelming.
