Jeff, I don't think that the OP intended to be anything other than anonymous. The person who has decided to "out" her is making some pretty mean accusations about a now easily identified 8 year old.

Thanks for pointing that thread out to me. I'm not quite sure what to do and will need to give it some thought. It sounds like a difficult situation which DCUM is probably not the best venue to address. At a minimum, I'll keep an eye on the thread to make sure things don't get worse. But, more than that may be required.
