1. Schools first: children, with their poor hygiene, are prime vectors of transmission.
2. Workplaces, which need to offer flexibility and telework to employees, particularly those who need to care for children, but also worker in higher-risk categories.
3. This will put distance between people and slow down viral spread. It will also help keep people who need to continue working, safer as well.
4. Travel limitations.

They haven’t even begun testing broadly in DC yet. Word is they don’t even have tests at hospitals until Thursday at the earliest. DOH has them but is only testing symptomatic individuals with known exposure. I shudder at the thought of how many infected people are passing around this serious illness.

And schools shutting down for a single day to clean is just absolutely ridiculous. That is going to do NOTHING.
