Trump looks so sick

Who cares? He can’t escape death. He will die, eventually.

I find it fascinating that after everything we are seeing that so many people think he'll still be alive and/or in any way capable of continuing to hold office or to even pretend it's a possibility.

This. I seriously doubt he has a year left.

This. I agree that we are down to less than a year. But we'll know more in a couple of weeks.

Maybe a reference to seeing how he performs at the SOTU address?

It’s going to be obvious because of the side by side comparison from last year. He was pretty coherent at the last one.

Not a good one.

Can he not close his mouth all the way now?

He does not look well at all. We need age limits and term limits.

The picture you return to and realize you should have known gramps wouldn't live out the year.

he is seriously aging by the week.

This is what dying looks like. I saw my dad die a couple of years ago. It looks exactly like this.

We can only hope he dies very soon.

I heard his speeches and interviews at Davos and he does sound worse than previously. However, there's also an element of fatigue, due to travel, that makes his speech worse. Usually when he's at home and in his routine, he sounds better (but still far from normal).

All in all, I don't think the decline is fast enough. I know you guys love to anticipate his imminent demise, but he might well live out his term.

I dunno, his "press conference" the day before Davos--when he was still at the White House--sounded pretty much the same as the Davos speech.

Yeah but if he and his cult of personalities have a place to hide then he'll care even less if he goes nuclear.

I'm NOT a Trump fan and I'm not giving him any credit, BUT that an 80-year-old person can keep the schedule of a President, while somewhat impressive, it surely comes at a cost. First, the travel would wear out anybody. I don't see how somebody that's 80 can do this- regardless of how you rate Trump's job performance? I also don't see how somebody this age, would want the job of President? Obviously, ego (and maybe avoiding jail time) is the driver here.

I think if Trump hadn't run for President in 2024, that MAYBE he could have quietly gone off into the sunset? I know his ego won't allow it, but surely he can't be happy in his current position? Since he has brought all this onto himself, I don't feel sorry for him, but I do wonder if he ever regrets running in 2024? I think golfing, hanging out at your mansion in Palm Beach, and spending your last years with family, is much better than being President. I guess I'm thinking too much like a sane, rational person, but I just don't get this guy.

Elderly people have very low energy, especially if they didn’t care for themselves early in life. He probably just doesn’t have the energy for the job. It’s long hours and a ton of international travel. He probably struggled hard with that time zone change.

When I go to Europe, I also struggle with the time zone change, especially on the first day. That said, I'm not on Air Force One. I'm in cattle class on United, which means a sore body and no sleep when I arrive.
