2010s lost 8 of the 16 on the roster from a not at all good team

Now have 13 with replacements

No recipe for survival

Not surprising. The team didn’t score a single goal in league play this year.

Yeah I'm confused too. There's no one practicing. I don't know who they're trying out against. I think all games are done after today.

The technical booster needed to squash Rev and humiliate their money

Manassas Soccer Club has awful fields. No turf and their crapoy grass field is basically on the shoulder for i-66.

Yes obviously. Just don't know anything about their teams. I know when the merger was announced a few months ago with some DC club everyone was like they aren't good. Is Manassas a good merger?

From a current talent standpoint not a needle mover. From a geography standpoint it taps an area not currently covered by a ECNL or GA team.

We got an invite that it was the last chance to tryout. Are the older boys team done? or what? coach wont reply to emails, admins dont reply. If anyone know the older boys coaches, please ask them and post the answer here. Communication is horrible and the season has not even started.

That sounds typical unfortunately.

It’s an empty merger with no benefit for Tsj. Maybe the pick up one or two practice timeslots but otherwise worthless. They maybe doing only to benefit the boys program but with the expensive pay to play model, no value. Adam maling very bad decisions again.

Not sure if you're talking about boys or girls. I've seen their posts about tryouts and they seem to never have all the age groups on there and I highly doubt there are full teams. I feel like they are going to merge age groups again like they did this year. That pretty much resulted in nearly half of the teams quitting so no lesson learned there. But, if they don't have enough kids to fill a roster what else can they do but merge. They also don't have enough good coaches for the teams so again they'd have to merge. So I see it from both sides.

This is for the GA team. From what I’ve seen, they’re willing to take almost anybody—even players willing to play up a year—just to fill the roster. It’s clear they’re still struggling to finalize teams for the 2013 and 2011 age groups.

This is true. They have 2014 rostered girls for next year on their 2013 team.
