Why are people more sympathetic to Lindsay Clancy than Andrea Yates? (Child death mentioned)

Thats because the Reddit threads were shut down over a week ago due to moderator issues. It did work when I posted it.

Basically there was a Facebook photo of LC with a friend and they were doing kind of goofy smiles and LC commented something like “we look like we have Downs but the sad thing is this is just us normally”

He had been working from home and was always with her. Read that her parents had been helping them and recently returned to CT. Why did he leave her alone w/kids when he was worried about her mental state?????? Will never understand that. Should have put them all in the car and picked up take out or had food delivered. So sad—they had it all😢 Tragic all around.

There was supposed to be another hearing this week, but it was moved to late July.
Lindsay has been moved out of Spaulding Rehab (the fancy hospital) and to a state hospital that deals with both physical and mental health needs.

I don't think anything has come out either way, so I'm guessing her condition is unchanged / she is not walking.
