should I get a glider that reclines?

Is it worth the extra $ to get a glider than reclines?

I didn't get the reclining feature with #1 and I never missed it.

In the name of everything holy, YES.

YES. YES. YES. I slept in ours last night for 2 hours with a sick 10-month-old. Worth every penny.

I think the simple answer is if you have it, you love it, if you don't, you never know you miss it. I would definitely recommend the Dutalier regardless of what model since they are wonderful (just rocked my 15 month old in ours). The extra money you pay is worth it since you can use it with multiple children (my sister's went through 4 kids and STILL works great!!!!!) the cheaper models don't stand the test of time.

Enjoy rocking your little one. I sometimes pick my daughter up at night when she sleeps just to snuggle with her as I rock her.

My thoughts exactly. I heart my glider. I heart it more than my hubby most days.

See I would say if you have a bad sleeper you love it, and and if you don't might never miss it. For us it was the best part of having a glider (but then I could never have picked up a sleeping child from the crib just to snuggle).

Definitely. I didn't get that feature and am still kicking myself two kids and 6 years later.

I love my reclining glider so much that I can't let it go, even though the kids are in elementary school.

This will probably be me. I love my reclining glide so much I got another one for baby #2. Baby #3 was a terrible sleeper and I spent many nights sleeping in that thing with her on my lap!

Ditto for me!! Best money I spent. I slept in for weeks before delivering, used it for nursing, and slept sometimes in when baby was little and also as she gets older and is sick or something and can't sleep. LOVE it.

Holy crap, there are gliders that recline? My kids are 5 and 3 and we're not having anymore, but I think now I have to go out and get a reclining glider. How fast do they deliver?! How did I miss this?
