You lost. Stop whining.

I would be more embarrassed by the winning teams behavior than a pre-season loss in this situation. Veteran winners know how to do it with class. It’s a life lesson.

Ha! I don’t have a “dog” in this fight, but have to say it’s funny when you try to make a comeback and fail because your English grammar is so poor. Get a clue….and an English class. 🙄

Prep needs to make some major offensive personnel changes.
A 2 goal offensive output is an embarrassment.
Is it the lowest in program history?

When you say “offensive personnel” do you mean players or coaches?

Not sure why the St. Mary’s team is so surprised, excited, and hostile towards Prep? Maybe they still have hurt feelings about the 2020 home turf loss to Prep from a half field shot?

Either way, they shouldn’t be so surprised or excited or hostile.

St. Mary’s has 21 seniors vs Prep’s 8 (most of whom don’t play). St. Mary’s also has 18 college commits to Prep’s 10. Prep lost 17 seniors last year, 13 of which were college commits. They have a young team (despite all the false jokes about holdbacks) with many sophomores playing. Give them time. They are basically a new team with only a week of practice under their belt. They definitely need to do some major work on their offensive game and goal tending, but I predict they will work hard and claw their way back.

Cool story!

Proof that pre-season rankings don’t matter. Unranked st Mary’s kills #9 Georgetown prep and unranked Gonzaga beats #19 Loyola blakefield.

Sometimes it’s the tortoise vs the hare. Don’t get to glib, you may be the hare.

How did the zags win?

Prep looked very lazy. Offense was pedestrian....looked like a rec league coach was calling it. Defense was passive and left the keep out to dry inside and gave St. Mary's shooters too much room. St, Mary's kept switching their offensive sets and Prep seemed confused. I would imagine Prep will make some adjustments.

Good win for Gonzaga. But it might not be all sunshine and rainbows for them. I heard that there best middie ( Georgetown commit) and one of their other ssdm ( unc commit) could both be out for a month. And one of their starting sophomore attackmen was also hurt.

16 seniors 3 out for the season. No holdbacks so preps juniors are older then stm seniors. And stm only starts 4 seniors. We are done on to Landon

Were these guys already hurt or did they play in/get hurt in game 1? Bummer either way but good win for the new coach.

I heard they were already hurt. Hopefully they get them back soon. Could be a big help for them.
