I am not celebrating anything. I am telling you that in Alabama there is a widespread suspicion of the MSM and their motivations. They don't believe information from outfits like the Washington Post, the NYT, CNN, etc because they view them as being totally biased.

If anything they will view this as being politically motivated and will come out in support of Moore with greater enthusiasm than before this news broke. It is the reality of the politics of Alabama whether liberals like it or not.

However, if additional credible information does surface then the situation may change.

Roy Moore already admitted to his encounters with some of his other teen accusers like 17 year old Deason on Sean Hannity's show. And, he LIED about some of the details to try and cover his tracks, like claiming Deason lied about wine at the pizzeria "because Etowah county was a dry county" - except, that Etowah repealed that years prior and it's been confirmed that the pizzeria did in fact sell wine at that time. Moore is lying and covering up. He needs to step down. Period.

Roy Moore was the one who decided to run for the US Senate. It’s kind of hilarious he seems to think that he shouldn’t be subject to national scrutiny.

LMAO! Sorry, no. WaPo has 30, THIRTY independent sources that all corroborate their story. Roy Moore on the other hand has already made partial admissions about pursuing teenage girls when he was in his early thirties, and LIED about the details, like falsely claiming the county was dry and wine wasn't available. Moore is already a proven liar and WaPo is far more credible.

Was the interview and leaked book excerpt from Donna Brazille also a smear campaign when the WaPo broke it on the eve of the VA election, and this page was full of threads about how Northam would lose because of Democrats in fighting? And Trump was using it to demand that DOJ lock Clinton up? With the opinion that the VA election is a bellwether for the 2018 races?

The Washington Post’s Editorial Board is liberal. It’s news organization does tough reporting on both sides of the aisle. This is not Fox, where Sean Hannity is considered a reporter, or Alex Jones, who admits his news is for “entertainment purposes he only” (ahhmm Pizzagate) or Rush calling the Hurricane that walloped Puerto Rico Fake News, or Breitbart. The WaPo is a serious news organization that regularly wins Pulitzers. If it is shown that this has not been reported honestly and transparently, people will lose their jobs, and the Post will print a retraction.

And a lawyer, I find it interesting that Roy Moore is not taking about a libel suit. It is harder for a public figure to sue. But he could win if the Post created this out of thin air. So why isn’t he?
