Ugh, its even worse than we thought. If you go to TLC's website, they have a "casting" button, where you give them your info and tell them why you should be on a TV show.
So, its even more unlikely that they reached out to her--and more likely that she reached out to them.

The one on the right was definitely not taken at the ripe old age of 60, unless someone photoshopped the hell out of it (which it looks like they did regardless of when the pic was taken). A little misleading.
