My daughter has seen other artists that she enjoyed. Such as Olivia Rodrigo. I know she also loves Phoebe Bridges. And of course every year there is the jingle ball

These are good suggestions but Olivia Rodrigo tickets were also very difficult to get and had massive resale listings. Phoebe Bridgers is opening for TS. Jingle Ball does usually have a good round up of artists though.

The prices on Olivia Rodrigo blew me away when I checked them briefly before deciding that I was too close to 40 to think about it anyway.

For just the verified fan?

Or verified fan plus capital one?

NP. The article I read said 14 million users were on Ticketmaster trying to buy TS tickets, and that included some bots

So that has to include the CapOne buyers - that’s probably how the bots got in.

Bots got in on the first day too.

I was waitlist for the verified fan but I have a cap1 card so thought I may have a chance. Logged in at 2 pm sharp and was already in 2000th place. Waited for 90 minutes to go through the queue and there was one ticket available for $750.00. Needed three tickets total so has to pass. Frustrated is an understatement.

beyond frustrated. didn’t get lottery, ok we’re long time cap1card holders. used 3 different TM accounts yesterday. one was linked to a “boost” from Taylor’s website. That account started quickly but was surpassed by a different one (non-boosted). Spent hours getting in, putting tickets in a cart and being told another “fan” beat us. This happened for Pitt, Chicago, Denver, Seattle and LA. And now general sale (not that we had much hope there) is f’ing cancelled??!!
I need to calm down.

I tried this strategy for Elton John, but the prices really didn't drop, plus I wasn't super serious about it so I was merely just looking on SH, but tickets were still sky high even as the show was starting. THAT's the artist I'd say spend $500 because you'll probably never see him perform again. Taylor has a long touring career ahead of her--you'll catch her next time. Hopefully some of these prices come down because they are obscene. $9,000 (on SH) for a nosebleed seat? please.

DH and I had a similar conversation last night about Springsteen, when I said that I turned down $300 tickets to TS because that’s more than the experience was worth to me and he reminded me that he paid more than that for our Springsteen tickets. But I’m almost 100% sure it will be Bruce’s last tour, and TS should still have a long career ahead of her.

She is about to turn 33, in a serious relationship and probably ready to start having babies. Also, she has been doing this at full speed her entire life. I doubt she will be touring for a long time. This tour will be special because it’s not just her new stuff (which I personally don’t love), it’s hits from all her albums.

Beyoncé has toured while have babies though. And she had more stadiums she was hitting and she did Coachella. Taylor will still do tours.

Hopefully she’ll make another Netflix special.

2 million people scored tickets through the Verified fans presale.

She needs to add dates.

She already has plenty of concert dates her fans are going to attend, she doesn't need to add more.

What I think is horrible is saying that those who buy merchandise from TS will be placed higher on the list to get tickets, because who knows how much you have to buy to demonstrate you are a "real" fan? In the end, that didn't seem to help. I'm glad I didn't fall for it. I had no idea how they would cross check between TaylorSwift.com purchases and Ticketmaster.com purchases, so I didn't believe it.

There was a lot that TM could have been done to make the experience fairer for everyone. No more than four tickets allowed per purchase. Don’t give out more presale codes than seats. They should have figured on maximum number of seats per presale code and whatever was left could have gone to the waiting list or general sale.

I have never bought merchandise from taylorswift.com but got extremely lucky and, on Tuesday, got 2 tickets for Philly after about 20 minutes.

Taylor wants to make money and set records so it wouldn’t surprise me if she added more.

Oh man. That’s already a pretty packed tour schedule and I assume she’s announcing intl dates soon. Question for the Beyoncé fan, how many more shows did Beyoncé do compared to Taylor?
