Oh...so they got the tip about the documents 18 months ago and sat on it? I hadn't read that. |
| I'm beginning to wonder more about the WHY. Why did Trump have any documents at all at Mar-a-Lago? |
That's because the GOP just came up with this lie in the last 12 hours. |
Dumb and sloppy. |
Maybe there'll be a supreme court style leaker. |
I want to know who helped him. It's not like Trump, himself, thumbed through the file cabinets and chose what to take. |
|
DP. It is ironic to advise someone against innocent plagiarism like this on a thread where the discussion centers around an ex-president who might have stolen national security info and FBI had to use a search warrant to retrieve it! |
I think it is more likely that the intel community caught conversations or evidence of selling the classified information. |
Because he is entitled to it. You know the Maralago Oval Office of 45th president He is megalomaniac and if he said take this and that boxes to Maralago, you think his inner circle will said no? You think he will easily listen to people of what to do and not to do? No! he is Narcissistic .. |
They knew about the document long ago, yes. But they also requested them back long ago and were sandbagged. Then they got some back, then realized Trump was still holding more. Then they subpoenaed the rest and Trump sandbagged them again. THEN they requested the warrant and executed the search. In all probability, it was not because the documents were not highly classified, it is because they were bending over backwards to give Trump every chance possible to do the right thing and to avoid any appearance of impropriety and politicizing the retrieval. And when he had thumbed his nose at the FBI and Archives enough times for them to realize he was never going to comply, they had no choice but to execute the legal warrant. I guarantee you Garland would have gotten the warrant months ago if he thought he could have done it without igniting a political firestorm, but the entire GOP has cast their lot with the orange traitor and that is that. |

New Trump statement - under the "Trump projection" rubric this totally means that there were classified nuclear documents at MAL, right?
|
Word is, lots! |
I don’t think Ginni has access to these. |
Yes, this is essentially an admission that he knowingly and impermissibly had nuclear documents at MAL. |
