Scary but not at all unrealistic. Stay at home people.

It's scary because it's poorly written panic porn.

Love this analogy.

Agreed. What a piece of garbage that was.

I like how he said “for most people, the story will stop here” and then spends six paragraphs waxing about death.

That article was pure trash, useless, and frankly irresponsible.

Yes if 80% of the country gets and a 2% death rate..that’s only 5.232 million deaths. That is not even close to the numbers of deaths in WW2.

418,500 Americans dies in WW2. Math and history don't seem to be your strength.

My main takeaway from that NY Magazine article is what kind of grown-ass man fails to wash his hands after using the bathroom and inadvertently gets a smear of fecal matter on an ex’s sleeve?!!! No wonder that woman has moved on!

The article people teetering on the brink of insanity did not need. My god.

Kinda true though. And I’m trying to nail down exactly how airborne this is? Can it linger in air for hours? If you walk behind someone on a windy day, will you inhale it even 6 ft away??

There is commentary on specific recent studies about this, just published via New England Journal of Medicine.

Right, "zero hedge," that classic bastion of peer-reviewed medical information.

. I’m quite experienced at understanding virality, how things grow, and data. In my vocation, I’m most known for popularizing the “growth hacking movement” in Silicon Valley that specializes in driving rapid and viral adoption of technology products.

Well, then, he understands how something goes "viral," so of course he has relevant information about the novel coronavirus.

Close enough. And yes it’s an accurate depiction of what happens in the body.
