Trump supporter here. I chuckle a bit when I see comments like this, knowing that I have friends and family who are Trump haters who really don't know where I stand. I let them rant and nod my head, but mostly try to steer the conversation away from politics. How will you know when you get to 100%? When it's just you and your cats?

Exactly this. These people are delusional. They truly have no idea who is voting for Trump.

We know.

No. You honestly don’t. But it’s cute that you think you do.

So you really go around and regularly complain about Trump and then you secretly vote for him?

Uh, no - not sure where you got that idea. I don’t complain about Trump, nor do I praise him. That’s the point. I don’t feel the need to bray in public about who I do and do not support. There are millions of people like this - private. Which is why you simply have no idea who will be voting for him. You act like it’s your right to know, when it’s actually anything but.

Trust me - your silence say a lot. We know...

Ah, so anyone who isn't a batshit crazy rage-a-holic and screaming up at the sky like you, is a Trump supporter? That right?

Cool cool.

Well, I didn't vote for him last time (or her, FTM) but thanks to the unending barrage of bullsh!t like yours, I'll definitely be voting for him this next time. I made my mind up probably in the first year, and it's been nothing but reinforcement of that ever since.

You - YOU - are the problem. I just can't associate myself with people like you. I can't.

Do you actually know anything about guns, or would you be a danger to yourself and everyone around you?

DP. I know nothing about guns but that won’t stop me from going out and buying a bunch of them.

I’ll buy some for friends too as gifts.

Nothing wrong with any of that.

Then I'd like to suggest you take the first one you buy, load it, stick it in your mouth, and suck it as hard as you can while pulling the trigger.

Please do that for all of us, so you don't accidentally kill one of our children.

Maybe this guy should've followed our advice and his son might still be alive. Or do you make an excuse for him?

Not to mention all of the toddlers who shoot people every year.

Almost ANYONE can get a gun. Let’s ALL get guns.

Yep, I will for sure

You'll be red flagged.

Enjoy jail.

What will I do if Trump is reelected?

Get up, get myself a cup of coffee and some breakfast, have a laugh when thinking about certain individuals' overblown reactions to it, and get to work.

^^^ Yep, I am pretty sure the earth will keep revolving.

I should have said 100% of outspoken Trump supporters in our family. Right now we still do 1-2 limited events per year with them. Very easy just to cut the cord completely.

As for my acquaintances and neighbors who are Trump supporters, we do know. Don’t worry. We don’t associate much now anyway so there’s not much to change.

What a relief it must be to them, not to have to listen to your nuttiness any longer! You act like they must be so hurt that you’ve “cut the cord.” They’re anything but.

Great. Then it’d be a win-win. Everyone will be happier.

We tried to maintain some kind of relationship so the kids could know their grandparents, but you’re right. We’d all be better off without additional contact.

Heck, why wait until November to see if he wins? They support him no matter what. Cut them loose now.

Great. Glad we won’t have to pretend to be nice to each other anymore. That was exhausting.

And FFS just admit that you support him. You’re going to vote for him. And NOT just because some anonymous poster on a mommy website called you out.

Nope. There will be too many of us. You can’t put us all in jail.

Yep. And no one calls them “racist” for picking and choosing who they accept. Like every other country - oh, except the US.

+1 Seriously, just own your vote and don't blame other people for your choice. When you walk into that booth, its just you and your God. Can't blame anonymous DCUM posts for your actions.

DP. Yes, your blood pressure is clearly a concern. Maybe worry more about yourself and your OWN choices than about other people - who are, btw, fully entitled to their own opinions and their own votes.

Some people simply cannot have opinions without letting everyone else know what they are.

In every family, there is a loudmouth or two that went off to college, got all woke and vegan, and now everybody has to hear about it. Of course, they are driven crazy by Donald Trump. This is a major part of Trump's appeal to the rest of us.

This is 99% of the liberal posters on DCUM. They can’t STAND anyone who doesn’t march along in lockstep to their craziness.

My plans for election night 2020 would be to go downtown to the White House and celebrate. I didn’t do that in 2016 and have regretted missing it.

In every family there is a loud mouth or two that never went anywhere, never did anything, and doesn’t even know what they don’t know.
They love Trump.
Just ignore.

You're ashamed to own your vote publicly, and you should be.

DP. You misunderstand. The PP isn’t “ashamed” of anything. S/he simply knows when to stay away from crazy. Weren’t you ever taught not to discuss politics (or religion) in polite company? Or maybe it’s just that the company you keep isn’t polite.
