There is nothing wrong with Evans. He is hardworking and cares about his students. He is approachable and fair. I don't understand how an unfortunate fight turns into needing him go. All schools have fights.

FYI Benz served 26 years. There was no getting rid of her. At the end, she was on extended sick leave and out of the school more than she was present. She was older than dirt and it was her decision to retire, supposedly for health reasons.

Really tired of paying insane sums of money for taxes when I don't have kids and it is used to fund S shows like MCPS. Is all that money I am paying actually going to fund kids who want to learn?

Magruder is a hot mess. There's NO discipline in place.

How is he a leader when the school is out of control? I have friends with kids there; they are BEYOND disgusted.

Can someone please explain why teacher or admin in MCPS schools don't not contact police directly when there is fight between students or bully?

The one with the head injury, where the ambulance wasn’t called, has been bullying the other kid for YEARS. The parents have reported it to the schools, filled out MCPS forms, and were told their son could transfer if he felt threatened. Nice.
The kid who hit is head was 100% at fault. The dad and aunt know it, this was all deflection off of the aggressor (who is now in another school)

No it’s not and most of the parents and teachers like Evans. Yes, a little slow to make changes but overall flushes out weak teachers and is not afraid to push back on things that are wrong.
