Maybe they just weren't really hiding because they were separated and paparazzi took pictures of them. With their money, I am sure they could avoid being followed by 4 months by photogs if they wanted to.

actually, daily mail has a pretty good record when it comes to celebrity gossip. not perfect, but they are pretty conservative and only go live with a story when there is a lot of evidence. national enquirer much less so, obviously.

they could afford being followed maybe if they were very cautious. but it doesn't work like that. cheaters are often reckless, it's possibly a part of the thrill. it has nothing to do with the money.

And then she dated Putin and became besties with Ivanka and hired her to oversee her daughters trusts. I would love to know that woman’s life story, she initially married the husband in the couple that adopted her right? It’s just so strange and wild.

Yep. The WSJ broke the story after she married Murdoch, as I recall. It was so weird and nauseating and I was so young and idealistic that I never forgot it.

I am surprised that many people think that “no one ever divorces unless there is someone else”.
I may be very naive at 42 but you sometimes get tired of being associated with a jerk you hardly even have around, why not be your own person if you can afford it. Whether she meets someone new or not, does it matter? She has kids and money, she is smart and self sufficient, I don’t think she is dying to get some other d-k or anything.
It may also be some financial scheme.

My first reaction was is it financial to split things up given the government is unhappy with all the holdings but if he's also cheating its probably that and she had enough.
