Typing shouldn’t be your biggest concern right now. Most schools do Typing Club and a handful do Typing Without Tears.

Be grateful that Discovery hasn’t made a presentation, in fact say a prayer with it too.
I wish my school had made the decision to trial one of the reading or math programs. I’m jealous some of you will be in the know before me.

So only the finalists are invited to do presentations. Discovery didn’t make the finalist list?

Yep!!

Does anyone know anything about the vendors that aren’t Pearson and McGraw Hill? I do know Eureka Math, but not the others.

You try Googling Benchmark Education and see what you get. There isn't a huge amount out there.

+1 The math curriculum seem...not particularly established. I wonder who in MCPS is connected to them.

It would be nice to understand where these curricula have been successfully implemented in the past. I can't find much on the math curricula finalists which makes me worry that these are designed by friends of MCPS.

What are you talking about? Pearson and McGraw Hill are finalists for ELA. PP was discussing the math finalists.

I don't think Hopkins recommended specific curriculum vendors.
