Hey, Arlington dude with a kid on U11 Red. The kids in that photo were not developed at Arlington. Take note. Also, we are really so pathetic we are posting player photos now? Many National Champion teams from this area over the past decade from other Clubs, first time I’ve seen a photo posted.

Lol dude... I know the coach. Im not disparaging them for having resources and taking advantage of them. They are an incredible team and a classy coach. It is what it is. Your Carlos and Maria comment is neither here nor there. You sound like a fool, but by all means indulge yourself.

A little low to start analyzing the photo of 15 year olds, price of success I guess. Who cares where they played sharks and minnows, they trained/played/developed for at least the last year at Arlington, you guys are so ridiculous.

Aren’t both those coaches Bethesda south? Do they normally pull players and both coaches? That seems odd. Normally it is a promotion for the assistant when the head coach leaves.

There must be something bigger with the defection for Bethesda.

No, they were trained/played/developed by Coach Cuadros, who’s been their coach for years.

I am not sure how many National Title Bethesda has won. Maybe 1? They came to Virginia like 10 years ago as I recall. Sounds like the club went native and coaches/team played with the local club and stepped it up.

Three teams from the DMV won titles last week?

Dont know why the photo that was posted isnt apropos to this topic about “Rich White Kids” and pay for play soccer.

It’s not derogatory nor offensive. It celebrates a team and offers up an example for the discussion at hand. Pictures of teams and players are all over club websites and social media.

It shows at least 2 things. thise boys can play when given the opportunity and they have the opportunity.

And that they weren’t developed at the Club. And, the coaches and players were all under a different Club banner (coaches and players transferred together from a different Club) very recently.

And don't forget little Mamadou from Etheiopea who was playing soccer with teenagers and adults for 2+ hours almost every day of the week between the ages of 5-8. And timmy who has been signed up for little kickers, pre-academy, and after school soccer once a week isn't quite as good. Surprised?

You do realize this isn't a true "National Title" anymore, right? The national champions in this age group this year were the Seattle Sounders. Bethesda's U16s finished 7th in their division, and that Arlington team still wouldn't have been able to get close to them. Different levels.

Actually, much of this Arlington team that won played in the DA for a couple years before they aged out of Arlington’s program. Some went to DCU but a good majority stayed. Also, you obviously haven’t seen them play. The level is pretty darn close to that of DA.
