Incomptence and cover-up by MCPS all around. Nothing to do with immigration; all about security. Universities are required to report any incidents pubicly under the Clery Act. We should require the same for K-12 schools. |
Agree about the MCPS incompetence and cover-up. As far as the ILLEGAL immigrants, the 9th grade girl would not have been raped if the Obama administration had not released the 18 year old into our country. We need to acknowledge the facts of the big picture here, don't we? |
No.because there were 64 other rapes that you can't scapegoat Obama. Why don't you care about all rapes? |
Why not list the available details of those other rapes on a new thread? |
I think the point is why don't you or anybody else that claims they care about the safety of kids? It is indicative of you and others thinly veiled attempt to say you care when you are just use a girls rape for your own gain. |
Again, this thread is about the Rockville High School rape. |
Ha, my 12 year old has a little mustache, and a deeper voice. My heart aches for this girl, but I don't think you can look at a picture and say somebody is 18 opposed to 20. |
Perhaps they did lie about their age. But how do you prove it otherwise. I'm sure they are not carrying a birth certificate with them. Heck, a birth certificate may not even exist. |
Why does she need to start a new thread to respond to your specific quote. You made an erroneous allegation. And the PP called you out. Do you only care about rapes involving illegals, or do you care about all rapes. That's the point. |
DP here. What was the erroneous allegation? This particular rape matters to many people in this board because it took place in our HS. So rightfully so, it has more importance to us. It could have been my daughter. Yes, we care about all rapes. This particular rapist was an adult who was here ILLEGALLY and should never have been in this country. He should never have been in the HS. If the law was being followed (immigration law) he would never have had the chance to rape this girl. What part of that exactly is not true? |
And to the PP - if you would like to bring attention to all the other tapes hat have occurred in MCPS, I would support that completely. As a parent of two daughters, this whole situation is horrifying. I feel that my girls should be safe at school.
Any info on how this Rockville rape could have been prevented would be a positive discussion. |
Good question for 12:32, but no response yet... |
What I don't understand is how the parents did not already know about the fight earlier in the month. Usually, topics like this spread like wildfire in schools. |
What you need to understand is that the school principal failed to inform the school community about the criminal assault that occurred in the front lobby of the school at approximately 9am on Tuesday, March 7. Other students looked on as the victim was repeatedly and viciously kicked in her head. After a teacher was finally able to stop the perpetrator, the principal failed to call an ambulance, in spite of the severe nature of the injuries. The perpetrator has yet to be charged, even though there are many videos and witnesses of the attack. Why? The perpetrator was welcomed back to school, while the victim is suffering from her injuries, unable to return to school. Where exactly were all the security officers on March 7th? |
Yes lets find out more about the 64 other rapes. When did they occur? Were they all during school hours on school property? Who was involved? |
