I think large/real tall girls have hard time socially.

DD is 14, 5'8 1/2 and wishes she were 6'0 her friends are all 5'2-5'6 and also wish they were tall. She loves being on the taller side because it help she her athletically

I'm a 5'7" female and was surprised to learn I'm right on the verge between average and tall for most American sizes. Ridiculous. In Europe I'm average, and the clothes fit better

I wish I was a couple of inches taller though! From what I see, very short women usually end up with short men. I rarely see couples visibly mismatched in terms of height.

Why so much hate because he doesn't want to date fat chicks? What is it with heavy women so sensitive when guys don't find them attractive. I'm 5 feet and about 110 lbs and don't find tiny little men attractive, so I go for tall guys with a nice build. Friend of mine is 200 lbs her DH probably 130 soaking wet and shorter than she is. It's all about preference, and that's okay. People are allowed to have preferences. Bigger gals need to stop thinking men who don't find them attractive are pigs or mean or shallow. They just don't dig fat chicks.

I completely agree with you- it's ridiculous that overly-sensitive people are flipping out because of one person's preference, especially when it's likely they have physical preferences of their own.

The only thing is, at 110 pounds and 5 ft, you aren't petite. You a short, but a husky, sturdy thing.

For all the people calling other people fat, sight unseen, I don't you can always tell who is lighter. I have a friend who weighs 10 pounds more than me. We're the same height and jean size. We both have athletic builds. It's like her frame is larger.

And you can tell when you're "too skinny" because everyone and their uncle will tell you.. People do not hold back in this.

I am 6'3. My preference is 5'4"-5'6" 145-175 lbs.
I like to be able to grab something besides skin and bones. Plus I think a small muffin top is sexy as hell. I think it is attractive when a woman can pull off very womanly curves well.

The Jennifer Love Hewitt posts reminds me that if you grew up in the late 90s, many of our teen idols were super short.
