Best way to get straight hair - I found it

Reading all these rave reviews is torture! I was so hopeful!

Try the round one. That's the one OP got and most of the PPs (including me) as well.

It's a brand new product, so whatever you've been using, it's not the Revlon one-step volumizer.

Can this also be used to straighten dry hair, like a hot iron?

OP here checking back in. So happy to see many for whom the dryer/brush has worked, though I do think it probably does not work for all hair types.

Speaking of frizzing up - one morning I used it to straighten my hair and then it started raining like crazy outside and I was really bummed because I knew my hair would frizz up. But instead, when I got to work, I had these waves in my hair that looked I had purposely worked a curling iron through it. So even though it was not straight like I originally intended, I liked the effect!

I have started putting in a heat serum (Kiehls) in my hair when I wash it the night before and I also use a shine spray or pomade after straightening.

OP -one of the few products endorsed on this forum that was not a scam, thanks for posting.

I got the paddle revlon one last week and it's amazing. I have wavy hair that puffs and frizzes unless done by a professional. This thing is amazing. Took me 15 min to dry this morning and hair is nice and smooth with a slight wave I need to use a heat product probably to weigh it down more. Last time I did it, it looked even better the next day!! Thanks!

I bought it a year ago and keep telling everyone that I know how great it is!

It seems like a lot of people on this thread bought the wrong one.

IT IS THIS ONE HERE: https://www.amazon.com/Revlon-Step-Hair-Dryer-Volumizer/dp/B01LSUQSB0/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1492637282&sr=8-1&keywords=revlon+one+step+hair+dryer+and+styler

It's really awesome, it gives my thin, flat hair more volume than it's ever had. There is another paddle brush that Revlon makes, but that one has a flat side, and doesn't have great reviews. This one is different, it's a huge round brush.

Also, I agree with the PP, this thing is amazing, but it's LOUD. LOL, I used it the first morning in the bathroom with the door shut, and it woke my husband up. I now wait to use it until he's up, or I go to a farther bathroom.

All right - just ordered one, ladies, since my drier is on its last legs. Can't wait to try it on my fine, thin, straight hair!

Alright dammit you people have convinced me. Have naturally curly hair that blows out like a dream since it has natural volume and wave but I never can set aside 2 damn hours to blow it out properly. Will see how this thing works on it.

Count me among the converted.

I have a ton of hair so not looking for volume at all, but this really did an amazing job of smoothing/straightening. It's a bit heavier than I expected and a bit noisy, but I'm in love.

Am I the only one who feels like I am reading one big scam? Is this a real post????
