OP, do you still dry your hair in layers with this tool? |
I just bought one. ![]() |
I bought this one yesterday!
https://www.amazon.com/Revlon-One-Step-Dryer-Styler/dp/B013HJEA4C/ref=pd_bxgy_194_img_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B013HJEA4C&pd_rd_r=2T3ZFRYGWE3WZD4WFRE8&pd_rd_w=b7Ats&pd_rd_wg=rpCdQ&psc=1&refRID=2T3ZFRYGWE3WZD4WFRE8 Didn't get the round brush since I just cut my hair into a blunt bob and don't want it to curl under. Haven't used it yet but thanks OP! |
The best way is to get a magic straight perm. Period. |
Anyone try the paddle version? Wondering which is best for thick curly hair |
Guys,
I got the one the OP suggest-- IT'S GREAT! She's right. It's a lot easier than holding the brush in one hand and wrangling your hair and the hair dryer in the other. Ends are much better. Only challenge is that it's hard to dry the roots, and it is designed for volume, so if you like super flat roots, this isn't perfect. My hair is thick, wavy/curly but very fine/frizzy, fyi. |
I also ordered one after reading the thread. Used it yesterday for the first time, and it was so fast! Thanks OP (you should really get some commission from Revlon for getting so many of us to buy it. ![]() |
I'm this poster - OMG I JUST USED IT FOR THE FIRST TIME. (yes that's how often I - used to - blow dry my hair). This thing is unreal. It flat-dried my thick, wavy/frizzy/awful hair in 10 mins - looks like a salon blowout. BUY THIS NOW! |
I am a sucker and ordered it now, it looks great - hope I am not disappointed! |
I ordered the paddle one. I love it except it is hard to dry the roots of my hair. So I just used my regular hairbrush for a little bit on the roots and then went to the paddle brush. It was great. My hair was soft and shiny and pretty much straight. |
Is this going to straighten my frizzy curly hair? It is very thick and course.? |
I also ordered on OPs suggestion. I'm obsessed. |
I got one and it totally straightens/de-frizzes! I've only tried it twice but am impressed about the lack of frizz. My hair is fine and not straight but not really wavy so, in my opinion, it looks sad when I don't straighten it.
I didn't really get any volume, but I just started using it so that may come with practice. |
Haven't bought this yet, but my hair is very similar to OP's. Question for all you similarly-haired ladies -- have any of you tried the Dyson hair dryer? I have a salon-quality (and expensive) dryer, but I have heard the dyson is amazing. But very expensive, so I'm wondering if it's worth it.... |
I am one of the people who got the revlon one above and loves it. I haven't considered the dyson b/c I have an amazing hair dryer already. The thing is with the revlon brush thing is that you only need to do one thing-- it blows dry AND straightens in one go. With a dryer-- even the dyson one-- you still have to have the dryer in one hand and a brush in the other and do a bit of yoga to get it all done. It takes longer just because of the multitaksing involved and because the revlon dryer reaches more hairs at once. |
