Stephen is a shady drama queen who is never happy, stirs up shit, and is obviously in love with Carl. But I don't get why everyone is mad at Carl? Is he supposed be celibate because that whack job skeletor Lauren is in the house all summer?

I think everyone is mad bc he is creating drama by sleeping with a housemate without commitment and looking for outside girls as well. No one wants to live in that type of powder keg situation.

DP. You’re right, but I think it’s easier for the house to get pissed at Carl because he’s more easy going and they can actually talk to him. Lauren is a raving lunatic, there is just no way to get through to her. And she can be stone cold sober and still turns on the scary agressive switch and just berates people.

But, he is not point blank telling her what the deal is. At least once they showed subtitles of him whispering “you’re my girl, you’re my girl” while they were hooking up. That’s the kind of mixed message that takes her pre-existing clinginess to the next level.

He is getting away with whatever he can. She is assuming he is a decent human who says what he means and wouldn’t be sleeping with her if he was chasing other girls, particularly given their past history and the sugar he is blowing up her ass immediately prior to sex.
