Much as I would love to see Trump impeached (or, better yet, denied the Presidency), I don't think that this will have any more traction than before. Trump will (and already has) called it fake news and a witch hunt, Conway will spin like a top, and Trump's supporters will refuse to see the obvious. Beyond that, the Republican Congress won't do a damn thing and Trump will install his own people in the intelligence agencies. We all know that we're headed for a cliff, but no one seems to have the balls to stop it.

Um, Pence was as much part of the Trump campaign as Trump himself. If Trump is not inaugurated over this, then there is no way Pence gets to be POTUS instead. If Trump is sworn in and later impeached over this, I'm not sure what happens. Maybe Pence is subsequently impeached since he cannot credibly claim clean hands? Or hopefully he resigns of his own accord. Ryan is slightly, but only slightly, more palatable than Pence in my opinion.

Honestly, though, I don't know what happens if all of this is true. I feel sick every time I think of "President Trump", but I really, truly hope this isn't true. I don't think the US is in a good place to survive a Constitutional crisis of this magnitude.

Sick is how I've felt every day since the election. There was always going to be a Constitutional crisis with the Orange Menace in charge. The only question was when.
