What about Dechert? Morgan Lewis? Sidley? The name droppings crack me up, but I'm a nerd in the industry for 15+ years so I get the obvious and subtle jokes.

Dechert MLB Sidley aren't elite enough.

v5 only baby!

I wonder if "(w)ho(e)rvath" in the last episode was a play on cravath. Someone on the show perhaps has sullcrom ties.

Someone definitely has to have sullcrom ties in the making of the show - season two finale the black attorney in sdny says she's gonna go there.

So Lara was at home, looking confused, waiting for her "hug" and Wendy was face to face with Axe, getting the "hug".

Humm....

No I really don't think there are any romantic feelings between Axe and Wendy. Axe adores Lara, even though she is starting to show that she's pretty much had enough of this life they're living.

I don't think that's it. She used to be ride-or-die for Axe but the lie about Wendy changed that. It's not that she thinks he's having an affair, it's that doesn't know her well enough - or that he doesn't care enough - to know just how much lying to her means.

Its a lot more complex than that.

Wendy is an unbelievable character to me.

I thought that at first, too, but she's not any more or less believable than the other characters. In that context, she's operating with a set of skills, intelligence and emotions (not to mention money) that are just unfamiliar. To me, anyway.

That's kinda what the show is about, isn't it?

Season 3 is off to a blazing start. That final scene - WOWZERS!

I love all the parallels in the show. When Axe and Lara have things looking up for them then Wendy and Chuck have things going in a downward spiral and vice versa.

Just finished season 2. Loved it!

Maggie Siff is still smoking hot. I’m 10 years younger than her and find her character insanely attractive.

Get in line. Would not describe her as especially beautiful, but that character is sex on wheels.

Yep. Lara, on the other hand, is not attractive to me at all.

Agree! I love her wardrobe. Understated sexy. (except when she is holding a paddle!)

Thought it was just me! Can't figure out if we are supposed to like her or not. Doesn't help that she is by far the weakest actor on the show and rall the other female characters (Wendy, Mary Louise Parker, Condola Rashad, the other dominatrix) are interesting and badass in their own way. She and the sons could disappear and I don't think it would negatively affect the show. Also, I get they are blue collar people turned billionaires, but Lara and Bobby are like Mark Zuckerberg and the Mrs 10 years from now, jeans and tshirt, too cool for school and the upper echelons, but still outsiders looking in, demanding respect. There is also a disconnect between them and their homes. Same with Wendy and Chuck. Both couples seem out of place in them.
