Am I the only one who thinks Kate Middleton is anorexic?

Anonymous
I am not naturally thin. But I think she is. I have been my thinnest after having two kids. My body has actually changed after two pregnancies and I do not hold onto weight as I used to. I have a naturally thin friend who also got much thinner after her pregnancies. Not everyone gets fat and stays fat after having kids.

There really is not much of a line you can draw....I am willing to bet dollars to donuts that her doctor has already told her she needs to put on some pounds...I don't know any doctors that would see a woman with that frame and not tell her to gain weight. People are just so brainwashed by modern beauty standards that they think having minimal body fat is a desirable thing to strive for.

This picture really does a better job of showing how much weight she has lost...sorry but these are not the arms of a healthy woman in her 30's.

You guys, some people are naturally thin!

So is she.

I wonder if all of those describing Kate as anorexic have ever known someone who truly is.

I think it's wishful thinking on their part, trying to justify their own fatness.

Your brain could obviously use a little fat.

No. I had a friend in high school who was anorexic. Recently, a friend's DD was hospitalized due to anorexia. When I look at pictures of Kate I don't see the same things I saw in those two people.

YES, she's thin. Thin doesn't qualify her as anorexic.

Some people get a big kick out of being so skinny that the sight of them triggers discussions like these, and I'll bet Kate is one of those women. She would never actually be anorexic, but she enjoys that she is able to maintain a body weight that would be very, very difficult for most women to achieve and maintain. So while she could enhance her sex appeal by getting some curves, she probably prefers to be the darling of fashion designers and the fashion elite by maintaining a seemingly impossibly thin frame while staying on the right side of the anorexia line.

Just because she is not a full blown anorexic does not mean she is doing everything right. It's not either/or. I look at her and I don't see an anorexic either. But neither do I see a healthy frame on her.

Even if she is, being that thin is rarely healthy...natural or otherwise. Ask a doctor.

I hate these threads because I'm naturally thin and it's so sad to be ripped on for it. People demonize skinny.

If you are naturally skinny to the point where your bones are poking out and your face is sunken, you should probably gain a few pounds. Your body will thank you when you are older.

Terrible that women think it's okay to comment on another woman's body. You never know what someone is going through. Thyroid or other health issues, mental issues causing severe stress, etc. It's just as nasty to call her anorexic as it is to call an overweight person names and labels.

I never said she was anorexic...I listed signs that point to the possibility of someone being too thin (in regards to health). If someone is underweight they SHOULD gain weight, for their own sake. Just as someone with excess belly fat should lose weight for their own wellbeing. Being on either end of the extremes is not healthy, no matter the reasons that put a person there. People in america are so quick to notice if someone is too fat, but have a hard time recognizing someone that is too thin. Some people are naturally fat, some people are naturally underweight. Both require adjustment to maintain the best health.

WTF? Yes, I'm sure her naturally thin physique is a result of wanting to get attention. Spare us your armchair psychologist act! The woman is thin. Those of you wanting to read more into it are just as bad as fat shamers.
