I think the baby food was to remind Rick about his family in Alexandria and to prod him into going back. He had been talking a big game to the others about not going back to help but the baby food may have been too much.

Those Wolves that attacked Rick were the ones that Morgan let go. That is why the one had a gun.

I think Daryl will show up to save Rick.

Daryl went back to help lead the herd.

When Glen was getting eaten, I said to my husband "that's not the face of someone getting their intestines torn out and eaten! Wouldn't he be passed out?" So maybe there's some hope????

Rick has gotten out of crazy situations, I don't think will be any different. I couldn't keep track where Darryl was going, I think he turned back for the hoard.

Glen was screaming, so I'm not really sure if it was because Nicholas was being eaten on top of him or because he was being eaten. Either way that's a tricky situation for him to be in, if he is alive getting out of it will be tough. If he didn't get out of it, I'm sure the group will go looking and find zombie Glen. Maggie will pull the trigger.

Daryl went back to help with the herd. They showed his motorcycle drive up to the car at the fork in the road.

If Glenn was eaten, he might get eaten to the point where there isn't a zombie Glenn. I don't want a scene where Maggie has to shoot Glenn -- we already saw that with Daryl and Merle.

To the comic reference -- lots of people are curious about that and Glenn's death. They're suggesting in other forums that another character will meet (comic Glenn's) fate if Glenn died last night.

I don't think he's dead. His death was not included in the Talking Dead tribute, and the actor who plays him wasn't on the show last night.

On Talking Dead, they made some comment about maybe how rick's hand was going in the way of Luke skywalker's, ie, it's infected and he's gonna chop it off.

i don't think it is infected. It makes no sense, but walker blood alone doesn't infect you although a bite does (by making you sick with a fever and then death) . If blood killed you then they would all be dead.

I think it's if the walker's fluid gets into your blood stream then you turn. True, we've never seen an episode where a person wasn't turned by a non-bite. But, why would it just be a bite, then?

I thought the knife Rick was using to stab those walkers broke or snapped and pretty badly cut his hand (in the palm). Didn't see a bite.

Several reactions:

Re last week/Judith. The timer was started at the beginning of the episode and went off at the end, so it bookends the wolves raid. Before: normal, set timer; after: new normal, timer goes off; between: chaos.

Glen is not dead. From the way that the two of them fell, Glen was underneath. The show has no problem showing people having their face eaten, so there would be no reason to show ambiguous guts eating while Glen looks on with no apparent pain.

When Rick killed the three or four walkers he found on the road, there was a knife in one of their shoulders. I thought he sliced his hand on that. (It's always bothered me that walker fluids don't cause infection/death, but somehow bites and scratches do, but they're hardly going to switch that now).

Also, where the heck is Rick supposed to be? I thought he was behind the herd, and in fact he must be, since otherwise how could he run back to get the camper (on the other side of the walker ricochet wall). But then where does he drive to? ("I'm at my best guess.") Was Glen (who was ahead of the herd) supposed to meet him there? It must be relatively close to Alexandria or the Wolves wouldn't have found him so quickly. But then why are all these walkers coming out of the woods?

And finally: it would have been a perfect time for Michonne to cut off a couple of walker jaws and just mosey on out covered in walker guts. She even had two candidates in a PET STORE--presumably filled with LEASHES!! Even if she wanted to be a hero, she could have let the two injured people have the camouflage.

Just to note for those who don't know - if you line up the timelines, Glenn didn't die long ago. The graphic novels are years ahead of the show. But I read that Negan may come in this season, but named Orin.
