| Rick is turning into Shane |
|
I have an issue with the doctor abusing his wife. Why would Deanna allow it to continue? She could have moved the wife & child into another house. She could ban alcohol. I mean chocolate is tightly controlled but alcohol is freely available? There are none of the usual reasons a woman stays with an abusive man, she doesn't need him to financially support her, won't lose her home....I know they want to keep the doctor happy because he is useful but it doesn't make sense.
There were people (looked like two) running outside the fence when Sasha was shooting walkers from the tower, weren't there? |
| That shot was a little confusing, but it was people running inside the fence (toward Rick & Pete). |
But Shane is delicious.
|
She allows it to continue because he's the only doctor and he's a surgeon. They need him, or so she believes. It wouldn't do any good to move them into a new house. Banning alcohol or moving his family would upset him, and she wants to keep him happy. Doesn't want to rock the boat. |
I agree. But I think it just highlights that they have no idea what they're doing. Just a guess here- next week they'll be attacked but Team W or a zombie horde and everyone will be forced to realize they need Governor Rick. My money is on a zombie horde with Daryl and A-aron making contact with Team W. <<<COMIC SPOILER / GUESS>>> Koral's gonna get shot in the eye, cliffhanger about whether Doc Pete can/will save his life. |
And from D.C.! He graduated from Sidwell. |
This, I have no idea what is going to happen It seems unrealistic that rick and company can kill everyone and take over the town Did anyone notice Rick and Gabriel both wearing the same white tee shirt in the previews? Do you think she tries to exile them? |
| At one point I thought Rick would open the gate and let walkers in so they would get a feel for what it is like. I do find it a annoying that he thinks that because they haven't experienced what he has that they are wrong in some way. They seem to be doing a pretty good job (except allowing Rick's group in). |
bolded is a good guess. I would disagree that they're doing okay. They haven't faced any real threat yet and they abandon anyone attacked by zombies outside the walls. So when they face a group like Team W, they'd get destroyed. That's Rick's main concern, I think, what will they do when The Governor 2.0 shows up? |
I think that's only because they have met someone like the Governor 2.0 (as PP mentioned). That place is not impenetrable. Plus, they do need to go outside to get supplies, and they don't seem to do very well when they do go out and encounter the walkers, or maybe even baddies. |
oops, meant "they have NOT met someone like G 2.0". |
She's desperate for normalcy and was made a constable. Pretty vanilla... and lame, but that's why. |
Disagree. I think she just wanted to calm things down, and that was the fastest way. Remember, when Michone was out in the woods, and then she started shooting at the Walkers and said to Sasha that this was for her, not to help Sasha, almost like Michone wanted to keep that part of her. Maybe she also thought it would show the residents that she is on their side to gain their trust, even though, I think, she will still have Rick's back when it comes down to it. |
