Parenthood

I am SO glad that Julia didn't do anything with Ed. He's a nice guy and I feel bad for him, and he clearly cares about her, but he brings so much baggage for her! She needed a clean start without all of that history. Loved seeing her get into "lawyer" mode, she clearly needed that... and the teacher was awesome. Joel seriously screwed up.

Yeah, the school thing seems totally unrealistic, but so was the mayor thing and half the other stuff on this show. It's still entertaining.

I really liked the interaction between Drew and his roommate. Roomie is right, Drew totally screwed things up with Natalie, he has no right to be pissed at her or the roommate (forgot his name). And what happened with the other girl? After Drew dropped her off at her parents, they never mentioned her again!

I also don't get why Sarah dumped the doctor. He was perfect! I enjoy watching Hank develop as a character, but no way is he right for her as a relationship.

It's like you read my mind.

There wasn't anything to "screw up" with Natalie, though. She's made it quite clear to him that they were nothing more than friends with a few benefits. It's unfair of her to then get all pissy when the old girlfriend shows up. I think Natalie needs to make up HER damn mind what she wants from Drew, because she's the one jerking him around.

Is it just me, or does Natalie look like she's 30 instead of 18?

Thought the Drew/roomie thing came out well

OMG! That's the guy from Happy Endings??? He looks so different with those glasses and haircut! He was very hot on that show too but I think he's even hotter on parenthood. So cute to see him all geekily flirting with Julia. God, is she awkward, or what?

We were talking about the financial lack of realism before. Starting a school is a dream of mine. Takes tons of money. I guess there aren't really many TV shows that deal with the fact that most people can't just make their dreams happen.

+1. These are my thoughts exactly. Natalie was manipulative especially when the old GF showed up. Drew was getting the short end of their FWB relationship. She's annoying too

I don't know. I think she looks like a college student. It's the tiny body. Even thin, fit women in their later 20s and 30s seem thicker somehow.

Just googled for her age and didn't find it, but she graduated from college (Florida) in 2011, so she's probably 25ish.

Mine too. Why did Julia dump the doctor. And as for Sidney, are little girls really so self absorbed? Gosh...can't stand her.

How can Crosby buy the house, or the house become the school, If the papers are already signed... And if they go back on the deal, how can zeeke and Camille buy the new house?

Did anyone else catch that Adam mentioned he was paying tuition at Cornell? Omg Hattie does exist

It's about time they have a gay character on the show.
