At what age can a man no longer date a woman in her 30s or younger?

I dont "despise" anyone. As for bitterness, there seemed to be a bit in your assertion that women in their mid to late 30s are still single mainly because men want to act like fratboys. Come on. The issue is - why did they not get locked down when they were hotter and probably more fun, like many other women did? I havenothing against mid 30s women or dating them (though prefer late 20's to early 30's for long term). My change in career took a few years of school, which is probably a significant reason im single at 35. If a woman did the same thing, thats not something im disrespecting. However, a woman prioritizing career (and probably lots of partying and vacations) over relationships in her 20's is a red flag for many guys. Career/financial status is much more important in a man than in a woman. Smart men like myself dont want a dumb woman, but how much she makes isnt that important. As a man, job/financial status are incredibly important, and my career change was worth it.

And I am actively looking to "settle down". Im not just open to it. Of course, i wont just marry anyone, it has to be the right person. You seem to have an attitude that somehow a mid 30s guy and you are in different situations, when i think most people would agree we are in similar situatuons. Men mature later and women's biological clock ticks faster. As for wondering why 27 year olds seem to be ready to commit more than some older people, well, i could ask you the same thing...

Point is, unless you want to be a sad cougar and i want to be that creepy 45 year old in the club, we should both get to work! Have a good weekend.

Older men will find many gracious young women in the Philippines- particularly in the beautiful area around old Subic bay. Why be limited by age- in Asia age is respected for wisdom and such. Don't be ruled out our youth culture.

Seems like some women are open to substantially older and others want to wall off guys 6 plus years older. Of course, a 38 year old and a 30 year old will have much different criteria.

I am the other 30yo who posted earlier. I will and have dated older than 5 years older but I have to admit that men around 50ish make me think of my father too. I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing someone my dad's age home. My dad works with high schoolers and guys used to tease me that he would end up with some woman my age. Fortunately, my dad refers to anyone under 35 as kids and has dated age-appropriate women post divorce. I don't consider 50 to be old but I feel like if I am compatible with someone that age, something is off with him. Recently, I met a guy overseas and we were chatting at the bar. He was mid-50s and he finally said "Ok I'm sure you're too young, but how old is your mom and is she single? Do you have any pics of her?" Funny thing was, I almost asked the same about his 27 yo son until he told me he was engaged.lol

Not that it matters since I don't fear aging the way the male PP does, neither of my parents have crow's feet yet so I doubt I will anytime soon. We can agree to disagree on the rest.
