I don’t know any first gen families who have done this. The ones that show up on my feed are UMC. Some public school kids and some private school kids. The bed party that has shown up in my social feed is from a very wealthy family in Palm Beach. Daughter is going to Alabama. That came with requests (from the mother) for recommendation letters to various sororities. It’s a different world!
