Snow next week?

Teachers don’t really care about the workdays btw. I know you guys fantasize about wielding them as a reward or punishment for how much it snowed any given winter but it’s irrelevant to us.

Or expecting public school teachers to do it all?

Would love to if they used books or if they were not hiding the material being taught. They give you a title from standards of learning, and that’s about it.

Good teachers don’t. The ones who still don’t have grades in for the quarter are here on DCUM weeping about their lack of time.

No grades this Quarter for my HS in two subjects.

I have no sympathy for the teachers that endlessly complain. And utmost respect for the ones who do their job.

Hooray for a 3hr school day or is it another early release day too, or some random holiday because everyone has to feel included. Oh and the teachers need more time to plan because they teach the same thing every year. 🙄

Hahah! Exactly. My second graders get to schools then 1/2 hour of morning meeting, the lunch, then recess! So she stares learning at 12:30! Of course specials in the afternoon which is fine, but then core class learning is a piddly 1.5 hours.

This school system is becoming more ridiculous by the day.
