I think it's crass to comment on people's looks and even worse to imagine pregnancy complications. Of course I wish her and the baby a healthy pregnancy.

But if you align yourself with Donald Trump - and none of us can doubt that Usha was part of this decision - and do any public appearances with JD or others, you are going to get a lot of negativity thrown your way. And if you betray all your principles in the process, then I find it hard to feel bad for you.

You know who I do feel genuinely bad for, though? The children. None of this is their fault. I wish they could be sheltered from how loathed their father is. But he sold his soul and is hurting so many people along the way... of course they will be deeply hurt when they grow up.

JD Vance called Renee Good, mother of three who had just been killed, a "radical leftist" who had been "brainwashed." He justified her murder by lying that Good had tried to run over the man who killed her, something we can all see with our own eyes to be a lie. He said we should all be thanking the ICE officer who murdered Good.

So yeah, the news that this man is becoming a father for the fourth time is depressing to me. I do not understand Usha's choices, at all, and I feel bad for all of his kids that this is what they have for a father. Babies are normally a blessing, but this one makes me sad.

Well, hey. I for one am glad that even pregnant Usha was able to go to the meetings for her stolen Kennedy Center board seat (you know, the one she took even though her defenders assured me she was just some hapless brown woman) and change the name to Trump Kennedy Center.

Pregnancy really does help you see the important things. Like changing the name of an iconic cultural arts organization to benefit your husband’s job.
