What a bizarre and irrational presumption. Why does the government care if you go to work or not? Nor does the government care if you spend money. The linkage between employee/consumer behavior and government policy in this way is totally absent.
Yeah I hope I'm proven wrong but I don't get how doing this in MN helps.
If we could bring the NYSE and a number of airports to a halt, that would hurt the people Trump listens to. Would one day hurt though?
Why don’t you head out to DCA that day PP, with your little sign taped to a yardstick? I’m sure you would get a lot of attention.
What’s your great idea you twit?
Get out of ICE’s way and let them clean up Biden’s mess. Sooner the illegals are gone, sooner ICE is gone.
Is the way they treated this US citizen Biden's mess?

Why are you so quiet about this, MAGA? Defend this.
Looks like someone is getting helped down the stairs. I don’t know if this person is legal or not, neither do you. Maybe ICE is helping him go to an appointment.
This is a big operation. Biden let in 12M illegals, so not every interaction is going to be perfect. But, this has to be done, and it’s what Americans voted for.
LOL, that is a US citizen who has been arrested by ICE and not allowed to put clothes on. Nice try
CNN just reported ICE has detained about 38000 illegals with criminal records and/or current criminal proceedings. CNN’s report was overall positive for ICE. This is definitely making the country safer.
They killed a young citizen mother and gassed a citizen baby. They roughed up an older citizen veteran. This just in the last week.
ICE Barbie's own department said only 47% of those apprehended had a criminal record. Try guzzling less propaganda.
This is direct reporting from CNN - the most liberal new outlet on the planet. I’ m not guzzling anything. And given the size of the operation, not every interaction will be perfect.
38000 illegals with criminal records/proceedings are detained out of total 69000 illegal detained. All will be deported. These are facts reported by CNN.
What percentage of the detained had a criminal record? How many US citizens and green card holders were detained? Report it all, because she was on TV just the other day and did not have answers.
38000 out of 69000 have criminal records/current criminal proceedings. I already said that, do some simple math yourself. That’s 38000 criminals off the streets.
When you call people here on TPS status "criminals" it massively undermines your argument.
The 38000 criminal violations are for crimes in addition to immigration violations. And there is no argument here, these are reported facts from CNN. If you have a problem with it, your beef is with them.
You keep citing these numbers. What is the source? You can’t just say “I saw it on CNN” and pretend people will believe you.
I googled those numbers. There is one article stating 69000 people are CURRENTLY in ICE detention as of earlier this month.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2026/01/14/ice-immigration-detention-centers-booming-trump/88158810007/
It does not say how many of those current detainees have criminal records, but it does note the administration has changed reporting practices to label anyone who crossed the border illegally a “criminal,” which was not the case in any other administration.
I found a separate article from last June where it was reported that the administration had arrested 38,000 immigrants with criminal convictions.
https://abcnews.go.com/amp/US/trump-vowed-deport-worst-worst-new-data-shows/story?id=123287810
This is NOT the number of current detainees but the number of arrests overall. You’ll see the article also mentions over 95000 arrests had already been made by the middle of 2025. As the article explains, at no point did people with criminal convictions make up the majority of arrests.
You appear to be conflating two different types of data to give the false impression that the majority of people Trump’s ICE is arresting have criminal records. This is not true. All credible reporting on this topic says the opposite. Even CNN:
https://www.cnn.com/2025/10/16/us/ice-tactics-raids-arrests-dhs
Federal data reveals most immigrants taken into custody don’t have serious criminal convictions, according to a report by CNN Investigates. More than 75% of people booked into ICE custody in fiscal year 2025 had no criminal conviction other than an immigration or traffic-related offense, according to ICE records from October through the end of May.
