Right, another year to go. I don’t know about the vendor but the new dining director seems to be implementing some positive changes, such as ice cream sourced from a local creamery and coffee from a local cafe. They’re introducing more flexibility with meal plans, which also seems good.

Charlotte and the area around it are really nice looking. It’s the people that matter. Both places have decent good people but are different. North Carolina is one of the most religious states in the country. Massachusetts is one of the least religious. Charlotte has a lower cost of living but also have lower salaries. Boston has a large diversity of culture with many more museums, higher ed, better sports.

Besides the religious aspect there shouldn’t be a problem finding people you like.

Uh, I think you mean that Davidson people are responding to insults by (an) Amherst supporter(s). Most Davidson responses have been around clarifying facts about Davidson, not about denigrating Amherst. The whole thread seems contrived to generate controversy, not to illuminate anything genuine.
