Tell us again about your son not even making Achilles FC as the catalyst for your non-stop hate on pre and teen boys in the first instance. |
Beat them 3-2 according to MLS. Doesn’t say anything about a different age group. Looks like you are making all of this up. |
“Facts” according to troll. |
What’s worse, your son didn’t even make the team during thE COVID years, yet here you are, years later trashing the 2011’s. |

They care because they thought their son was headed to the 2011 MLSNext Achilles FC team but didn’t make the cut. It’s been war against Achilles since. Goodness, that’s so pathetic. |
Haha, right? Hell hath no fury like a parent being scorned from Achilles FC. Think about that for just a moment. Pathetic. |

Weakest teams? Achilles FC U13 ended the season ranked higher than 9 other teams in the Mid-Atlantic and are in the MLSNext Cup single elimination tournament. Not the showcase, the tournament. https://www.mlssoccer.com/mlsnext/standings/u13/ Troll, be gone. |
Um, no. |

oh wow, this turned into something lol
The only reason I even initially challenged the Achilles parent (or is it a coach??) on their victory over RBNY is they were posting winning one particular game as proof their club is not part of what this thread was about, the watering down of MLS Next. When the facts of even that game are known, it's the exact proof that Achilles is watering down MLS Next. Maybe we should differentiate between Tiers 1 and 2. Achilles most definitely should be moved to Tier 2. If the one driving force behind the value of MLS Next is the ability to play the academies regularly, then the academies begin to bail on multiple games because there is no real competition, than what good is MLS Next? WV should be NCSL. Achilles, PA Classics, probably a few others should be Tier 2. Arlington, Richmond, VDA would fit in well with Tier 1 and immediately improve MLS Next. But we have to be real about some of these clubs or else MLS Next will definitely get watered down to just another league. |
+1 How the heck do they keep WV in Tier 1? How many teams do they have? |
It’s soooo obvious this is the same poster posting and responding to themselves. So pathetic. |
| Achilles 2011 beat Red Bulls 2012 - second team. It was hilarious, the Achilles parents were so happy they beat Red Bulls. Those parents aren't smart enough to realize how this was an insult to them. |
+1 This isn’t about Achilles being the wrong club for their players, it’s about Achilles not being up to MLS Next Tier 1 quality |
Clearly the league doesn't agree. Why do you think they expanded Achilles's age groups this year? Could it be that the league sees a good record of player development? Why, in any case, does it bother you so much that the league disagrees with your assessment. |
What are you going on about? Achilles U13’s made the MLSNext Cup playoffs. |
