Republicans 22 seats- 1 tilt dem, 2 tossups, 1 tilt R, 1 lean R, 5 likely R.

Once the impact of destroying the Federal Government and fired 75% of federal employees and contractors start to bite republicans could lose 10-14 seats in the senate.

Good
If the House, as it should has the anticipated large majority and immediately starts impeachment proceedings against both trump and vance then the Senate will have the 2/3 votes needed to convict both of these corrupt men.

The Senate will also be able to proceed with impeachment against Thompson and Alito. With Trump and Vance removed from office the Democrat Leader of the House will be sworn in as president

It's win/win.

There is zero chance Democrats will have a two thirds majority in the Senate in 2026. While it's true Trump will be a drag on the GOP going forward, Democrats have yet to convey a compelling case for why people should vote for them. Anti-Trump sentiment is the only thing sustaining Democrats presently - and it still won't be enough to make significant gains in the Senate.

Wanna bet? I know MAGA voters who are dissatisfied with trump.

Many elections involve voting against someone not voting for anything. Vote against migrants, vote against brown people, vote against women, vote against "libs"... and that gives you Donald j. Trump in all his ugly glory.

Plenty of people will vote against the economic destruction of this administration.

Challenger to Lindsay Graham. This is a great video.

It is a great video. Too bad she doesn’t stand a chance.

Of course she stands a challenge. Lindsey Graham is doing great harm to South Carolina and the rest of the country. There is no good reason to keep him in office.

I don't like Graham but he won by 10 points in 2020.

She doesn't have a chance. NP

Probably not, but it could be a pretty entertaining campaign. It looks she's willing to take plenty of verbal shots at the slimy, old incumbent.

There aren’t going to be anymore elections, dum dum.

Then we can really start burning the place down and dragging the magas out from under their beds. Spare me the martial law talk, far less than half of the military supports Donald Trump. No one‘s coming to save the red hats from the people while the administration hides in their bunker.

I would argue the Biden won in 2020 for this exact reason. If things go sour it will swing back.

Democrats have stumbled on a strategy. They will pretend they are not Democrats. Run independent candidates in a bunch of states.

Whatever works. Trump is certainly not a Republican.

If true, that’s truly annoying. She voted to approve Kegsbreath’s nomination for SECDEF because she was afraid of being primaried.

My biggest worry is election integrity. I’d like to hear democrats talk about what they are going to do to make sure that our votes are counted correctly.

Yup Tillis just announced he’s not running again.

Thank goodness ann opportunity for a conservative to run in NC. Tillis is really not a republican. Let’s see what he does next. Lobby? MSNBC? Does he have next gig already lined up?
