I think you should be good. I heard last year they turned down people's first choice letters if they were not going to give them offers. So no news is good news. Assuming you are in a connected Preschool |

Know parents at Dalton that are supplementing a lot for literacy and math. Too much project based learning in lower school |

Compared to what? It's way better academically than any other lefty-ish school, college admissions numbers are still staggering (15% HYP, 33% Ivy), it's less of a pressure cooker than Trinity/HM/Brearley... maybe people are deciding they don't like that philosophy anymore, but I don't know what school people who would have ranked it first 5 years ago are choosing over it now unless they're people who would apply to all three of HM, Dalton, and Trinity because they don't actually have an opinion about anything except the brand name. |
